Opening of 'String Art' exhibition in Sulaymaniyah

On Friday evening, artist Gona Osman Rahman opened  her own art exhibition under the title "String Art" at the Amna Suraka National Museum's gallery in Sulaymaniyah and under the sponsorship Culture and Art Directorate of Sulaymaniyah.

 

The opening ceremony was attended by Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed, executor of PUK's politburo who has expressed support for artist Gona Osman Rahman and wished her success in her works.

 

For her part, artist Gona thanked Mrs. Shanaz and appreciated her continuous support for artists.

 

The exhibition included 52 art works and 4  design projects which included portraits, ornates, and simple arts. All of the works were made with strings and nails pinned onto woods.

 

The exhibition will last for two days.
