Five bodies recovered from Mosul's 2019 ferry disaster victims

Five bodies belonging to the victims of the ferry sinking in Mosul have been found, an informed source said on Sunday.

 

Five bodies of the ferry victims were found today under the fifth, fourth and first bridges in Mosul, the source told PUKmedia, adding that four of them have been identified and one unidentified.

 

In March 2019, the city of Mosul witnessed the overturning of a ferry on the tourist island of Mosul's forest with dozens of citizens on board, resulting in the death of more than 100 people.
