Security media confirms Baghdad Airport missile attack

The Iraqi Security Media Cell confirmed that Baghdad International Airport had been attacked by missiles last night, indicating that there were no casualties.
The cell said in a statement on Saturday, that "three missiles were fired at Baghdad International Airport late last night," noting that "two rockets landed outside the airport and the third landed on a citizen's house in the Al-Jihad neighborhood, which resulted in material damage without human casualties".
The cell indicated that it was informed of the details of the attack later.
Arab media outlets reported that at least three missiles landed near Baghdad International Airport on Saturday early morning.
At the end of last year, the American Victory Base had launched a C-RAM air defense system in conjunction with tight security measures around the Green Zone and the airport.
