PUK Co_leaders condemn Baghdad's Thursday suicide attack

The PUK Co_leaders on Thursday strongly condemned today's suicide attack in Baghdad, calling on all the political factions to work to preserve unity and to make every effort to foil these criminal attempts.

 

"We strongly condemn today's suicide terrorist attacks in Baghdad, which killed and injured a number of innocent civilians. The terrorist attacks are a clear sign of the continuing dangers of terrorism and the presence of sleeper cells in the country." Co_leaders said in a statement.

 

The planners and perpetrators of the attacks are aiming to eliminate efforts to resolve the crisis and to destroy the unity between the political parties that are working to create a national dialogue. 

 

We call on all the political factions to work to preserve unity and to make every effort to foil these criminal attempts. We ask God to bestow his mercy on the martyrs, grant them paradise and to give peace to their families and we wish the wounded a speedy recovery.
