Iraq records 809 new Covid-19 cases, 9 deaths

The Iraqi Health Ministry confirmed 809 new cases of COVID-19, raising the total number to 611,407 in the country.

 

The Iraqi Health Ministry said on Thursday that 9 more people died from the coronavirus during the day, bringing the death toll to 12,977.

 

The Ministry also said that 1,805 recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 576,725 in Iraq.

 

The new cases were recorded after 38,390 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.
