Budget bill arrives in the Iraqi Parliament

The Iraqi Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee confirmed, on Tuesday, that the draft federal budget law for 2021 has reached the Presidency of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.

 

MP Nada Shaker Jawdat, a member of the Economic and Investment Committee in the Council of Representatives, said during a special statement to PUKmedia: "The draft federal budget law for 2021 reached the Presidency of the Council of Representatives, which in turn will refer the draft law to the relevant committees."

 

"The Finance Committee, in cooperation with the economic and legal committees, will discuss the budget and review the chapters of disbursement and the percentage of damage, and it will also change the numbers in the budget," she added.
