Renowned Kurdish artist Ari Baban dies aged 67

The great Kurdish artist Ari Baban died on Saturday, at the age of 67, after struggle with illness.

 

The artist Ari Baban was born in the city of Kirkuk in 1953. He has 8 personal exhibitions and participated in more than 160 joint exhibitions with artists in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and abroad. He was also the former director of the Public Library in Sulaymaniyah,

 

The late artist opened his first personal exhibition in the city of Kirkuk in 1970.
