Kurdistan Region announces 222 new COVID-19 cases, tally touches 100,719

The Kurdistan Region has recorded 222 new positive cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 100,719 in the region.

 

The health ministry said on Tuesday that 3 people died from the coronavirus during the day, bringing the death toll to 3,303. 

 

The new cases were recorded after 2,903 suspected cases were tested across the Kurdistan Region during the past 24 hours.

 

It also said that 320 people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 65,283.

 

The Health Ministry as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions and to stay at their homes, and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
