Kurdistan Region announces 197 new COVID-19 cases, tally touches 99,501

The Kurdistan Region has recorded 197 new positive cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 99,501 in the region.

 

The health ministry said on Friday that 6 people died from the coronavirus during the day, bringing the death toll to 3,273 . 

 

The new cases were recorded after 3,711 suspected cases were tested across the Kurdistan Region during the past 24 hours.

 

It also said that 353  people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 64,072.

 

 

The Health Ministry as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions and to stay at their homes, and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
