     Kurdistan Parliament congratulates the PUK

Dr. Rewas Faeq, Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament, congratulated PUK on the 45th anniversary of the founding of the PUK.

 

The text of the congratulations read:

 

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and the new revolution of our people, I extend my warmest congratulations to the families of the martyrs, Peshmerga, veterans, political prisoners, people with special needs, the co-Leaders and the leadership council, the Supreme Political Council, and all the cadres, members and supporters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

 

In conjunction with the commemoration of the anniversary and the renewing within the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, we hope that the occasion will be an important milestone in the civil struggle of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan towards steps to serve the people of Kurdistan, so that the Kurdistanis, who deserve better living than now, live in security and stability.

 

We hope that the occasion will be an opportunity for us to review ourselves and to adjust with the latest developments in the region, Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and to preserve the unity of the ranks among the political forces towards bringing the Kurdistan Region out of the current situation, on the bases of the recommendations of the Fourth Congress and in light of the guidance and instructions of the nation’s leader, Mam Jalal.
