Duhok records two new coronavirus cases: Health Ministry

Amid the search for the infect individuals with the globally recognized COVID-19 virus, two people tested positive for the virus on Friday in Kurdistan Region's Duhok province, according to a health ministry statement.

 

"Amid the search for the suspected cases of being infected with the coronavirus, two people tested positive for the virus in Duhok province." the statement read. 

 

both of the confirmed cases are male individuals, one is a 28-year old man from Akre district, and the other is a 58-year old driver who lives in Erbil, the statement added. 

 

Both of them have recently been to Iraq's capital city of Baghdad. 

 

As of Friday, the total number of coronavirus cases in the Kurdistan Region has reached 452. Of this number, 358 have recovered, 5 have died, 62 are under medical care.
