     Coronavirus: 7 new cases in Erbil, Quarantine imposed on hospital in Sulaymaniyah

The Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region has announced, on Wednesday, the registration of 7 new infections with the coronavirus in Erbil Governorate.


The ministry said in a statement that medical examinations have confirmed the registration of 7 cases of coronavirus, which are in Erbil governorate, noting that the cases are a 35-year-old woman, and two girls (15) and (9) years old who are family members of a former patient.


The ministry added that the other four cases are men (53), (42), (42) and (29), three of whom are from Erbil and the fourth is from Garmian, but they are currently in Erbil.


Meanwhile, the Shorish Hospital Administration in Sulaymaniyah announced a 48-hour quarantine in the hospital after 4 health personnel working in the hospital were tested positive for having the coronavirus.
