On Wednesday, Lahur Sheikh Jangi, co-leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, sent a message of condolences to the families of the two martyrs of the Peshmerga forces who were martyred Tuesday night.

The Kurdistan Peshmerga forces responded, on Tuesday night, to a terrorist attack in Kulajo district, which resulted in the death of 2 Peshmergas.

Sheikh Jangi's message:

"We received with great pain the news of the martyrdom of the heroic Peshmergas (Surkew Rashid and Ismail Fares).

At a time when the Kurdistan Region and the world is facing a fearful epidemic, the Peshmerga forces are standing on the fronts, and with the blood of the two martyrs, the heroic Peshmerga forces have been able to defeat ISIS malicious plans and break their terrorist sting.

On this painful occasion, I send my condolences to you and share the grief.

We pledged to you as the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to walk the path of your martyrs and the rest of the martyrs of Kurdistan.

We pay our respects to the honorable and loyal two martyrs."
