     Trade continues between Turkey and Iraq

The Turkish Ministry of Trade announced on Wednesday, the continuation of trade with Iraq without direct contact between people, depite of the spread of Corunavirus.


"Turkey attaches great importance to the safety of Turkish citizens," Turkish Trade Minister, Ruhsar Pekcan said in a tweet on her official account on Twitter.


"Exports to Iraq will not stop, and Turkey continues to trade with Iraq, as its most important economic partner," Ruhsar Pekcan added.


"We have taken all necessary measures to continue the commercial exchange with Iraq, by exchanging drivers and trucks without direct contact between people, at the Khabour Turkish-Iraqi border crossing, in the framework of the prevention of the Coronavirus," she said.
