     The World Bank continues to help Iraq

The Parliamentary Finance Committee denied the refusal of World Bank to provide loans to Iraq.

 

An MP, Shirwan Mirza, Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee on Wednesday, said in a special statement to PUKmedia: "The World Bank is still implementing some projects in Iraq and continues to finance those projects."

 

"Even though, the World Bank will not provide loans to Iraq in financing new projects, it rather continues to finance the current projects that have not yet been completed," He added.
