Mr. Kosrat Rasul, head of the Supreme Political and Interests Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, sent a congratulatory message to the HDP on the occasion of the success of its fourth congress.

On the occasion of the end and success of the work of the fourth congress of your party and your election as co-chairs of the Democratic Peoples’ Party, I present to you in my name and on behalf of all the comrades of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan the warmest congratulations, wishing that your congress brings further success and progress.


We all hold a historic responsibility for our rightful cause and we must put efforts to solve problems and achieve our rights through dialogue, especially you in north of Kurdistan. It is your duty to continue on the peaceful and democratic struggle and achieve the democratic and national rights of the Kurds.


Once again, I congratulate you and stress the need to expand and develop relations between us. The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is ready to cooperate and coordinate for the progress and success of the struggle of our people in the region.
