Kosrat Rasul says regional changes require unity of position

Kosrat Rasul, Head of the Supreme Political Council and the interests of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, received on Thursday in Sulaymaniyah, Osman Baydemir, a well-known Kurdish politician from Northern Kurdistan.

 

During the meeting, which was attended by members of the Patriotic Union, the Kurdish situation in the region was discussed.

 

The meeting included discussing the relations between the Patriotic Union and the Kurdish political forces.

 

During the meeting Kosrat Rasul said that "the Patriotic Union has strong relations with all Kurdish political forces and parties."

 

"The changes in the region were aimed at unifying the Kurdish word, class and position, in order to prepare in case of any new developments," he added.

 

For his part, Osman Baydemir stressed that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan represents a large force with influence in the Iraqi political scene and the region.
