Speaker of Iraqi Council of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi congratulated Bafel Talabani and Lahur Sheikh Jangi, for their election as co-leaders of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

 

Al Halbousi congratulated PUK's co-leaders, saying: "We extend our sincere congratulations and blessings to you and to the leadership of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, its cadres and its masses, on your election to the leadership of the party, at an important stage that requires wisdom that is available in you to complete the march of the party leader and its founder, the late Mam Jalal, and a renewed advancement with a promising and conscious youth leadership."
