Delegation from Yekiti Party of Kurdistan visits Saadi Pira in Erbil

Wednesday, Saadi Ahmad Pirah, member of  PUK's General Leadership Council, received a delegation from Yekiti Party of Kurdistan in the building of the political office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, in Erbil, the delegation consisted of Ibrahim Khalil Barro, a member of the party's political committee, and Nawaf Hussein Rashid, a member of the political committee and head of the Yekiti Party of Kurdistan office in Western Kurdistan, Syria.


During the meeting, Ibrahim Barro congratulated the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on the occasion of holding the fourth concongress of the party, hoping that the Patriotic Union would have a greater role in the region.


They also discussed the latest developments in Iraq, the Kurdistan region and the region, especially the situation in Syria and the relations between western Kurdistan and Iraqi Kurdistan, and a mechanism for the treatment of political forces and parties with areas liberated from Islamic State terrorists.


The delegation praised the role and permanent support of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the democratic struggle and freedom of the Kurds in Syria in general, referring to the humanitarian support for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan with the aim of unifying the Kurdish forces and deepening cooperation between them with the intention of achieving democratic and national rights.


The meeting also discussed the relations between the two parties and aimed at further development and strengthening of the relations.
