‘Environment’s Friend’ statue unveiled in Rania

Thursday, The curtain was removed in a special ceremonies for the statue of “Environment’s Friend " in the public park in Rania, in the presence of the superintendent of the Raparin administration and a large number of environmental friends in the borders of the Kurdistan Region.

 

The project was implemented by the artist Kamyar Hama Ali in cooperation with Akam Mulla and Waziru Hamid.

 

The aim of the project is to educate citizens more about the need to preserve the environment.

 

Akram Jalak, Director of Culture and Arts in Raparin, told PUKmedia, that “there are projects in the future for several statues that were presented to the Ministry of Culture and Youth in the Kurdistan Regional Government, with the aim of appreciating sport and a number of athletes and artists who had a role in the history of the city of Rania in the past.”
