6 terrorists killed in Badush Mountain

On Wednesday, the Falcon intelligence cell announced the details of a pre-emptive operation carried out in the mountain of Badush of Mosul in Nineveh province.

 

The cell said in a statement that the Falcon Intelligence Cell carried out an operation in the Badush and Atashana mountain range targeting terrorists who intended to launch attacks in Mosul.

 

The statement explained that "after continued follow-up to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorists in Nineveh, on Monday, 18/11/19, in a pre-emptive operation that continued until Tuesday, the Falcon Intelligence Cell and its tactical team managed to kill 6 terrorists with the support of the international coalition forces in Badush Mountain," pointing out that "the terrorists were planning to launch terrorist operations inside the city of Mosul."

 

The statement added: "Three of them were wearing explosive belts and the other three were armed with silenced weapons, and were hiding inside a tunnel in the mountain of Badush."
