A Kurdish library in Stockholm presents to documentaries by Kurdish film maker Shirin Jihani.

 

The first documentary is titled, YADE (Mother), which is 15-minutes-documentary film that tells the story of a girl who lost her family in the war in syria. her adventure is to find hope for a safer world without war and bloodshed.

 

The other documentary is titled, Under Black, which is a 24-minute-long documentary which includes interviews with Yezidi women survivors of IS captivity, most of whom were reportedly subjected to sexual abuse, torture and forced into religious conversions.

 

The documentaries are scheduled to be shown on Saturday, November the 16th, in Stockholm.
