The political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in the city of Sulaymaniyah started a meeting shortly before to discuss the current situation.
A source familiar with the PUKmedia said: The meeting of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union began a few minutes ago under the supervision of Mr. Kosrt Rasul Ali, First Deputy Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the presence of Dr. Barham Ahmed Salih, Second Deputy Secretary-General.
He added: The meeting will discuss the current situation in the Kurdistan region and Iraq.
