UN Security Council to hold emergency session on Turkish operation

The UN Security Council is scheduled to hold an emergency session on Thursday 10/10/2019 on the military operation announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in western Kurdistan and northern Syria, which has so far led to the deaths and displacement of hundreds from Sari Kani 'Ras al-Ain' and Gre Spi 'Tell Abiad'.

 

The emergency session of the United Nations Security Council, which will discuss the situation in Syria on Thursday,is at the request of European members, including ritain, France, Germany, Belgium and Poland, after the start of the Turkish offensive in western Kurdistan and northern Syria.
