Mass grave found in Sulaymaniyah

Security forces discovered a mass grave containing a number of remains in Sitak district of Sulaimaniyah province.

 

Sarkawt Ahmed, spokesman for the police in Sulaymaniyah province, told PUKmedia: "Forensic teams in Asayish and Sulaymaniyah districts have found a collective headquarters on the outskirts of the village of Bnawella in Sittak district." 

 

He added that after the opening of the mass grave, it appeared to contain the remains of three people.

 

The spokesman for the police in Sulaimaniyah: The competent teams sent the remains to the Department of Forensic Medicine in the province of Sulaimaniya to conduct a test (D.N.A) to identify them.
