PUK discusses a number of important topics

Today evening, September 20, 2019, the PUK’s Political Bureau held a meeting under the supervision of Mr. Kosrat Rasul Ali, Deputy Secretary-General of the PUK, to discuss several important topics.

 

In a press conference, spokesman for the Political Bureau of the PUK, stated: The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the region.

 

He added that “The meeting discussed the situation in Kirkuk and the appointment of a governor for the city,” stressing the PUK’s commitment to its agreement with the PDK on the new government.

 

On the matter of budget, Sheikh Omar pointed out that the PUK has an agreement within the region's government, with the parties involved in the federal government, and that this subject is crucial for the citizens of the Kurdistan Region, within the framework of the Kurdistan Regional Government, and that there is a specific delegation for the budget and our position is clear towards it.
