Bafel Talabani emphasizes the need for radical reforms in military institutions

On Wednesday, Bafel Talabani received British Special Military Adviser for Reform in the Ministry of Peshmerga and Commander of the British Royal Air Force.


During the meeting, which was attended by Ala Talabani, a member of the leadership council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, they discussed the importance of joint work and cooperation between the Peshmerga forces and Iraqi security forces and coalition forces and the elimination of terrorist threats and maintain the security situation in the region.


On this axis, Bafel Talabani proposed reform and organization of the Peshmerga forces and increase the armament of the Peshmerga forces, as well as called on the coalition forces to increase support to the Ministry of Peshmerga, noting that it is necessary to organize the Peshmerga forces in accordance with a modern system, as well as radical reforms in military institutions.
