Security forces arrested on Wednesday a terrorist who worked for the Islamic State terrorist group in Kirkuk province.

 

A spokesman for the Federal Ministry of Interior, Major General Sa'ad Ma'an said in a statement obtained by PUKmedia, on Wednesday: "The detachments of the Federal Police Intelligence, working within the Intelligence Agency in the Ministry of Interior arrested one of the accused in the al-U'bur area of ​​Kirkuk province."

 

The statement added that the detainee confessed through interrogation that he belonged to ISIS terrorist gangs and his participation in kidnappings of citizens and operations against the security forces as well as participated in the killing of a family in the village of Eftikharat.
