Yet another mass grave found in Sinjar

A local official announced the discovery of a mass grave of Yazidi Kurds in the district of Sinjar, noting that the victims were the people of a district belonging to Sinjar.

 

In a statement on Friday 30/8/2019, Khanasur Mayor, Rana Hassan told PUKmedia that a mass grave was found near the Sinjar district center containing the remains of 10 Yezidi Kurds, explaining that these citizens were martyred during the ISIS invasion of Sinjar in August 2014.

 

It added that preliminary information indicates that the martyrs, whose tomb contains their remains, are from Gir’zair district, which is administratively affiliated to the Ba’aj district.
