Trafficking Yazidis still continues: Yazidi activist

Yazidi activist, Ali Hassan al-Khansouri revealed a new human trafficking phenomena about the abducted Yezidis.

 

In a statement which PUKmedia received a copy of, al-Khansouri said: "Believe it or not, the Yazidi children are shown for sale in Iran," he said, adding that when ISIS entered Sinjar in 2014, many children were abducted. Today, a number of these children are being offered for sale for $20,000 per child. 

He added: ISIS forced them to become Sunni Muslims, and in Iran forced them to become Shiites of course with all due respect for every Muslim who does not have the extremist ideas of ISIS.

 

He called on all those who know any information on them to communicate with him, pointing out that the information is 100% confirmed that they are Yazidis and they are from Sinjar and currently in Iran.

 

Al-Khansouri told PUKmedia that the four children aged 12-14 years in Iran, according to information obtained about the events that took place in western Kurdistan and areas of northeastern Syria.

 

He added: The information confirms their presence in Iran, but details of their return requires about $20,000, stressing the continued efforts to find them and return them to Sinjar.
