10 terrorists killed in Anbar

On Tuesday, August 13, 2019, the Counterterrorism Agency announced the killing of 10 terrorists in the desert of Anbar.

 

In a statement, the Agency said: Landing operations were carried out in the Anbar desert in the areas of Rutba and Wadi Horan on the first day of Eid al-Adha, against ISIS positions that led to the death of 10 terrorists, explaining that the operation was carried out in accordance with accurate intelligence in coordination with international coalition air force.

 

“An air strike from the coalition forces was added to the organization's additions, after which a force landing was conducted and clashing with ISIS operatives. The clashes resulted in the death of 8 terrorists, and when an additive was searched, two terrorists were found wearing explosive belts, one was killed and the other blew himself up on the attacking force without suffering any casualties” the statement added. 

 

The Agency confirmed that the operation killed 10 terrorists, arrested five others and destroyed several ISIS additions with multiple air strikes.
