200 thousand tourists arrive in the Kurdistan region

The Kurdistan region has reached more than 200 thousand tourists in four days, while the Tourism Authority said the number of tourists is on the rise.


Nadr Rosti, spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Tourism Authority, told ‌PUKmedia: 208 thousand tourists arrived in the Kurdistan region from August 8-12 till the second day of Eid al-Adha, explaining that most of the tourists are from the cities of southern and central Iraq.


He added: The Commission will announce the number of tourists to the Kurdistan region after the days of Eid al-Adha, stressing the rise in the number of tourists gradually.
