Makhmour: 6 ISIS elements killed by an air strike

The Security Media Cell announced on Sunday that six ISIS elements got killed by an air strike in Makhmour.

 

In a statement, the Cell said: On the basis of accurate intelligence, a force from the Nineveh Operations Command managed to follow a terrorist group coming from Mount Qarajukh.

 

The Cell added: Coordination was made with the International Air Force and encircling the place, pointing out that the operation resulted in the death of six ISIS elements by an air strike, after they were gathered near a deserted village called Al-Samar village within the district of Makhmour.

 

"The force carrying out the operation also found the bodies of the dead terrorists as well as four rifles," the Cell said.
