The Political Bureau congratulates the Islamic Dawa Party

The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan sent a cable of congratulations to the Islamic Dawa Party and Nuri al-Maliki on the occasion of the success of the general conference of the party and the re-election of al-Maliki as Secretary-General of the party.

 

The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) congratulated the Islamic Dawa party on the success of its general conference and the re-election of Nuri al-Maliki as secretary-general of the party. He wished the party success, referring to the eternal and historical relations between the PUK and the Islamic Dawa Party during the struggle against injustice and tyranny and building the new Iraq on the basis of federalism and peaceful coexistence among the different components in the wake of the liberation of Iraq.

 

The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan expressed that the success of the General Conference of the Islamic Dawa Party and the re-election of Nuri al-Maliki as Secretary-General of the party will contribute to strengthening relations between the Islamic Dawa Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and all the struggling Iraqi political forces, the implementation of the Constitution and the protection and safeguarding of national interests.
