On the occasion of her election as President of the Kurdistan Parliament, President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, sent a congratulatory message to Dr. Rewaz Fayaq.

On the occasion of your election as President of the Parliament of Kurdistan, I congratulate you, and I wish you success in your work in Parliament. The Parliament of Kurdistan has played a major role in establishing the legal rights of the people of Kurdistan and organizing civil and administrative life in the Region through the adoption of the necessary laws and decisions. 


Also, I wish you a great cooperation work  in parliament with all the parliamentary blocs to provide greater services for the current phase and for the next stages in the Kurdistan Region, and we, as the presidency of the region emphasize our support and cooperation for the success of Parliament and the Government of the territory in the performance of their duties and the development process of democracy and governance in the region.
