Statistics reveal Iraq's population

The Central Organization of Statistics on Sunday, announced a statistical population of Iraq, stressing that it does not include the Kurdistan Region.

 

The Organization said in a statement, PUKmedia obtained a copy, that the total population of Iraq for the year 2018 is 38,124,182 people and a population growth rate of 2.58%, noting that the statistics do not include the Kurdistan Region.

 

Adding that, the rate of use of contraception in Iraq is 52.8%, adding that the total fertility rate is one child per woman of reproductive age 15 - 49 years, 3.9%.

 

The average life expectancy for males was 71.7 years, while the life expectancy of females was 75.6 years.
