PUK stresses the implementation of previous conventions

On Monday, Emad Ahmed, a member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan stressed the implementation of previous agreements with the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

 

In a joint press with Masrour Barzani, trustee to form the new government, Emad Ahmed said: The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan stresses the implementation of the previous agreements with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, explaining that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is a key partner in the management of the Kurdistan Region.

 

He added that solving the problems of Kurdish disputed areas of the Kurdistan Region and Kirkuk requires the participation of all parties, expressing his wishes for the success of the new government in solving the problems of previous governments in the Kurdistan Region.

 

For his part, Masrour Barzani said: The meeting was positive and we are waiting for the names of candidates for the new government.

 

The delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party headed by Masrour Barzani, trustee for forming the new government in the Kurdistan Region has arrived today to the building of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the city of Sulaymaniyah.

 

The delegation of the Democratic Party, was received in the Political Bureau by Emad Ahmed, a member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and a number of members of the negotiating delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

 

The meeting was held between the two sides afterwards, which both sides discussed the steps of forming the new government in the Kurdistan Region.

 

The PUK delegation consisted of Emad Ahmed, Rafa’at Abdullah, Lahur Sheikh Jangi, Latif Sheikh Omer and Adnan Hama Mina.

 

The delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party consisted of Masrour Barzani, Dilshad Shihab, Hemn Hawrami, Omed Khoshnaw, and Frsat Sofi.
