Some armed groups took control of grain storage Sailos in Khormatu district, while a well-informed source said farmers had to pay money to market their crops.

A source familiar with PUKmedia said in a statement that some armed groups had taken control of the grain storage Sailo in Khourmatu district and had forced the peasants to pay their money to market their grain crops and store them in the Sailo.

Added that: "The federal government must intervene immediately to address this problem and keep the hands of armed groups on Sailo Khurmatu because the continuation of this is causing great damage to the peasants in the region."
