A heritage museum in the heart of Sulaymaniyah

The Kurdish Heritage Museum is located in the center of the city of Sulaymaniyah, in the middle of the big market. It consists of nine small rooms that contain old artifacts and objects of clothing, coins, stamps, household appliances and ancient handicrafts.

 

Irfan, director of the museum, told PUKmeida: "The museum includes clothing and fashion accessories, ancient industrial and handmade works, books, stamps and ancient coins."

 

It is noteworthy that the Kurdish Heritage Museum was officially opened in 2005 by the Kurdistan Regional Government with the cooperation and supervision of the Kurdish Heritage Organization.
