The US Consulate General of Erbil congratulated Danish-Kurdish woman author for wining “Woman of the Year” award

The US Consulate General of Erbil congratulated Danish-Kurdish author Sara Omar, who recently won Danish Elle Style’s “Woman of the Year” award.


Sara is the author of the hugely successful book “Dead Washer” and an advocate for women’s rights.


 In accepting the award, Sara said, “in my world, every woman is woman of the year.” Congratulations, Sara
