Abdul Mahdi arrives in Ankara

Federal Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi arrived in the Turkish capital Ankara on Wednesday, 15/5/2019, heading a delegation of ministers, deputies and official figures on an official visit.


The visit comes at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office.


The two sides will discuss the security issue and the presence of Turkish troops in the camp of Baasheqa in the city of Mosul, the issue of not using the territory of Iraq to attack another country, the situation in the region and the existing escalation and how to avoid, building relations at several levels, the file of border crossings, the situation in Sinjar and economic files and water issue.
