The Federal Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday 15/5/2019 resumption of flights between the federal capital Baghdad and the Syrian capital Damascus.
The ministry said in a statement that after an absence and suspension of flights for more than 8 years, the green bird will be landing in Syria, announcing the reopening of the air route between (Baghdad - Damascus).
Iraqi and Syrian airlines announced flights between the two capitals from Wednesday.
