Sulaymaniyah and Baghdad discuss building sports stadiums

Governor of Sulaymaniyah Haval Abu Bakr discussed with the Federal Sports Minister Ahmed al-Obeidi the conditions of stadiums and sports in the Sulaymaniyah province.

 

In the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of Sports in the Ministry of Culture and Youth of the Kurdistan Region, and head of Sulaymaniyah clubs and director of Sulaymaniyah sports, the establishment of new playgrounds and maintenance of existing stadiums in Sulaymaniyah was discussed and how to support clubs and federations sport, champions and youth of Sulaymaniyah and the Kurdistan Region.

 

The two sides stressed the need for cooperation and coordination between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi government in this area.
