UK.. First Kurdish mayor of the 'Lambeth' city

Kurdish Ibrahim Dogus, is the mayor of the city of Lambeth within the borders of London.

 

Dogus said in a post on his Facebook account that: "It is with great pride that I can announce I have been selected the next mayor of Lambeth.

 

He noted that in his message, that As Mayor, this will be his message – one community, one Lambeth, one London, one world.

 

 

He delivered a speech to the attendees on the occasion of assuming the post of mayor of the city of Lambeth, which was attended by a number of members of the city council, as well as the Kurdistan Regional Government High Representative to the United Kingdom, Karwan jamal Tahir.
