Iraq: The world is not safe from terrorism

On Friday, Iraqi Foreign Ministry condemned the terrorist attack on the two mosques in New Zealand, pointing out that all countries in the world are not safe from terrorism.


In a statement, the ministry said: "We are following carefully the details of the sorrowful terrorist incident at the Al-Noor mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand today, and we condemn this crime with the strongest condemnation, and declare our stand alongside the New Zealand people."


"This long-standing incident proves that all the countries of the world are not safe from terrorism, and the world has no choice but to unite its efforts to eradicate it," the statement said.


The city of Christchurch, New Zealand witnessed two attacks on two mosques this morning, which led to the death of 49 and injuring dozens of people.
