The Council of Representatives raises its sessions untill after the Newroz holidays

The House of Representatives decided to raise its meeting held on Thursday, 14/3/2019, beyond the holidays of Newroz, while the Council postponed the discussion of the draft legal abolition of the Directors General and the Federal Court.


A member of the Council MP for the Kurdistan Patriotic Union bloc Taha Amin said in a statement to PUKmedia, that the House of Representatives held a regular session today and it was scheduled to read the first reading of the proposed law to abolish the offices of inspectors general, the first reading of the proposed law amendment of the Federal Court Law No. ( 30) for the year 2005, and a number of other bills, noting that the Council decided to postpone reading the draft laws mentioned.


The MP Taha Amin said that the postponement of the legal reading came to increase the consultation between the political blocs on the draft laws, noting that there are no differences between the blocks on the draft laws.


The MP Taha Amin said that the presidency of the Council decided to raise its meetings beyond the Newroz holidays, pointing out that the next meeting will be held on March 23.
