The president asserts the adoption of frank and constructive dialogue among political parties

President Barham Salih emphasized the importance of adopting frank and constructive dialogue in addressing problems among the political parties.

 

His Excellency received Dr. Khudair al-Khuzaie, former Vice President, Head of the Politburo of the Party of the Advocates of Islam (Duaat al-Islam) Organization of Iraq, at the Presidential Office in Baghdad, Thursday, February 21, 2019.

 

The President explained that the Iraqi political forces have a responsibility and a constitutional commitment to overcome differences and stumbling and to move to the stage building and reconstruction as well as strengthening the economy and making progress in the development process in a way that serves the hopes and aspirations of the Iraqi people.

 

For his part, Dr. Al-Khuzaie valued President Salih’s efforts in converging views of all political parties to preserve the democratic experiment and the attained achievements.

 

During the meeting, they discussed the latest security and political developments on the domestic and Arab arenas.
