Freeing 5 kidnapped people west of Anbar

A local official said Wednesday that five people kidnapped by ISIS gangs a few days ago had been freed west of Anbar province.

 

"A military force liberated the five citizens who were kidnapped by ISIS organization west of Rawa in Anbar province," said the sorugate of the district commander Rawa Hussein al-Okeidi .

 

He added that, "a force from the army was launched at dawn today and freed the citizens in al-Mudham village, pointing out that the search is underway for other abductees."

 

The ISIS gangs had kidnapped five people last Thursday in the district of Rawa during the collection of truffles in the village of al-Mudham west of Anbar.
