19/2/2019 16:02:00

A military expert confirmed that ISIS terrorist organization exploits the desert and rugged areas to carry out its terrorist operation and targeting citizens and security forces.

The military expert, who declined to be named, told PUKmedia Wednesday that, "the terrorist organization of ISIS after its large losses in Iraq and Syria, exploits the rugged and desert areas to reorganize and carry out terrorist attacks on citizens and security forces."

He added that, "the terrorist organization is located in fragile, desert and far-sighted areas without population density, and through its dormant cells, it atacks citizens who try to collect truffles in the desert areas and abduct them and demand ransom from their relatives to finance their terrorist operations."

The military expert pointed out that, "the security forces should intensify their intelligence efforts and carry out ongoing military operations in the rugged, mountainous and desert areas to prevent terrorists from carrying out their plans, by using air force and air raids to destroy terrorist gathering sites in desert areas."
