Iraq adheres to OPEC agreement

On Sunday, an official source in the Ministry of Oil revealed the reduction of Iraq production of Majnoon oil field.

The source said during a statement which was quoted by Reuters: Iraq has decided to reduce production of oil from the field of Majnoon from 220 thousand barrels per day to 104 thousand barrels per day in the current month.

The statement added: The process of reducing production in the field was a commitment from Iraq to the agreement of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
